Fino: Running is his show

Every morning, Fino wakes up eager to run. 
Those days when the couch seems more appealing aren’t fleeting — they simply don’t exist. 

In more than seven years of running, Fino — best known for his detailed shoe reviews under the handle @runningshoesworld — has found only love for the sport. His feed is a seamless mix of precision and passion: thoughtful insights on design and technology, interspersed with images of him running across cities and continents. 

Running looks effortless in his world. But those who run know better.  
Movement demands energy, discipline, and willpower. Yet, for Fino, that struggle seems absent. Running isn’t a battle. It’s his element. 

The key, perhaps, lies in community. 
For Fino, running crews are his home. “You just show up and they let you run,” he says. “Nobody knows who you are, you just run and survive with them.”

In Nuremberg, he built Run4Green, a crew whose motto reads Be a Hero, Not a Zero.
The line sums up Fino’s philosophy: help others find strength in movement. He runs not only for himself, but to lift those who follow: the beginners finding rhythm, the seasoned runners chasing flow. 

“I know what I can achieve,” he says. “But bringing someone else to that level — that’s it.” 

Fino runs with ease, not intensity. 
He’s guided by instinct rather than numbers. “People say, ‘You look fast, you should run this pace.’ I just say — no. I know my body. I run my own way. I want to have fun.” 

It is that attitude that he carries into races.
For many, a marathon is the summit. For Fino, it’s a celebration.  
In 2024, he ran all six World Marathon Majors — finishing the last one, New York, in a suit. “People thought it was ridiculous,” he laughs. “But this is my show. And I run my show my own way.”

Those are the constants in Fino’s rhythm. 

He’s built a platform that reflects them (@runningshoesworld) where hundreds of shoes are tested, reviewed, and discussed. To him, every shoe, such as the CEP OMNISPEED BOWTECH, holds a story far beyond its looks. “It takes 18 months for a shoe to come to life. When I see one, I don’t just see the design — I see the people who made it happen.” 

Fino’s respect for effort goes beyond the shoes.
He sees value in every stride — fast or slow. “We talk too much about fast runners,” he says. “Let’s make running slow acceptable. Everyone deserves to run their own way.” 

That mindset shapes his next goal: the Chicago Marathon.
“I’m going for the vibe,” he smiles. “If the street is quiet, I run fast. If it’s alive — I party.” 

Fino’s approach strips running down to its core.
No pace obsession. No comparison. Just motion, joy, and connection.
